Terrence M. ‘Terry’ Deters, beloved husband for 38 years of Terena (nee Ralph) Deters. Devoted father of Taylor Deters of Grand Canyon, AZ, Cassie (Miguel) Cabrera of Cincinnati and Christopher Deters, USN, Newport News, VA. Dear brother of Jeanne (the late John) Schoenharl of Dayton, OH Bill (Kathy) Deters of North Bend, OH, Steve (Roberta Bowers) Deters of Cincinnati, Debbie (Rick) Schreiber of Washington, DC , Tim (Missy) Deters of Guilford, IN, Mary (Randy) Hesser of Middlebury, IN and the late Marty Bredestege. Adoring grandfather of Quentin Cabrera. Caring son-in-law of Vangie Ralph of Lawrenceburg, IN. Terry is also survived by his Little Brother, James (Corri) Jackson of Oklahoma City, OK and by his best friend, Mike (Mary) Russell of Lawrenceburg, IN as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends. He was also preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Mimi Deters and by his parents, Fred and Stella (nee Tenhundfeld) Deters.
Terry was a member of Our Lady of Victory class of 1971 and St. Xavier High School Class of 1975. He attended Ball State University and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and was a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer for nearly 40 years; 35 of those years he and his wife owned and operated the Ralph Meyer & Deters Funeral Home in Price Hill.
Surrounded by his wife and children, Terry passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 16, 2025; he was 68 years old.
Per Terry’s wishes, burial is private, St. Joseph New Cemetery.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, November 29th, 2025, 11:00AM at St. William Church, 4108 W. 8th Street, Price Hill. Family will greet neighbors and friends in church, one hour prior to Mass.
