Joan 'Joni' Schreiber

Joan R. ‘Joni’ Schreiber, beloved wife of the late Michael W. Schreiber.  Devoted mother of Anna M. (Tim Smith) Schreiber of Cleves, Ohio. Dear sister of Michelle (Steven Keenan) Riesser Keenan of Queensland, Australia, Barb ‘B.J.’ (Mark) Hohenstein of Little River, SC, Rita (Rich) Griffin of Middletown, Ohio, Josalyn (Jake) Koopman of Cincinnati and the late Joyce Riesser and Donald ‘Chuck’ (Lynn of Albany, WI) Riesser. Caring daughter of the late Donald and Rita Riesser.  Cherished sister-in-law of Shelly (Bob) Hodapp of Cincinnati.  Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.

Joni was a 1983 graduate of Mother of Mercy High School and after a long career in title agencies and working for several well-known agencies, including Vintage Title, she retired as an animal caregiver and pet sitter.

 Joni had a passionate love for all kinds of music, especially rock n' roll. She was never afraid to be her most authentic self or to sing and dance like no one was watching. She was vivacious, ecstatic, kind, caring and humble. She surrounded herself with the closest of friends and family. She loved to make them laugh, even if it was at her own expense. Joni and her daughter, Anna, were the best of friends. They loved to spend time together adventuring around Cincinnati sharing memories of where they grew up. Joni was always interested in her family history and spent the last several months digging into her family's genealogy. She will always be loved, missed and remembered by those lucky enough to have known her.

Joni passed away at her residence, unexpectedly after a brief illness on Sunday, July 27, 2025; she was 60 years old.
